Also Lyoto Machida turned down his title shot because he “didn’t have enough time to train” so now Jones will fight Vitor Belfort at UFC 152 if all goes according to plan.
So, why isn’t people bashing Machida for ruining you haters legendary fight where Jones get pummeled? If a little less than a month isn’t enough time for Machida to train why should eight days be enough?

30 Day MMA Challenge: Day 17: A dream tournament…you get to pick 8 or 16 fighters, the weight class, and what’s at stake.
Ever since weight classes were added to MMA I been a fan of Light Heavyweight (PRIDE Middleweight). I love how they are a mix of the Heavyweights power and the Middleweights speed. They have the knockout power you know a fight could end early, but they can’t be the Roy Nelsons and Mark Hunts. So my tournament would be a 16 man PRIDE FC vs UFC style tournament with the UFC LHW title going to the winner plus a lot of money. I think I used some retired fighters but still would like to see the fights I say some would be insane and pretty interesting style wise.
